Despite having had the most corners in the league this season, Inter still remain without a goal directly from one Gazzetta dello Sport have highlighted.

Inter have had 94 corners across the first 12 league games, 12 more than second placed Juventus and 20 ahead of third placed Juventus. This comes down to Inter’s way of attacking that often results in corners being won.

The fact the Nerazzurri have yet to benefit from a corner is very surprising though given that there is a lot of height in the team and many players very capable in the air, in particular, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar, Matias Vecino, Mauro Icardi, Ivan Perisic, Miranda and Danilo D’Ambrosio.

It is now up to Inter manager Luciano Spalletti to work out what is going wrong as corners are certainly something Inter ought to take full advantage of given the amount they get per game which is on average just shy of eight.
