Inter’s treble winning goalkeeping hero Julio Cesar was interviewed by the club in the Matchday Program ahead of tonight’s Serie A clash against Frosinone at the San Siro.

The Brazilian began by talking about his thoughts about his experience with the Nerazzurri stating that: “To be an Interista, to have won with this shirt, it fills you up with emotions that are difficult to explain, a unique feeling that i share with all the fans. I am one of them, I feel it.”

Cesar then proceeded to talk about his fondest memory at the club stating that: “The Treble was the greatest dream that ever came to be true, I know that it could be a bit trivial to respond like that but it is true. There was something special all of that season, we knew we could do something big. Aside from all the wins, however, for me the most intense moment was when I left, when I went to the stadium to thank the fans for the past seven years together.

“Being part of this family is not something everyone can be and I am grateful to Inter and to all the people who have been close to me. I was close to everyone that was part of this fantastic group but if I have to choose one person in particular I would say Maicon. Strong on the pitch, and a friend in all occasions” the Brazilian continued.

In conclusion Cesar was asked about his three best saves at Inter to which he replied: “The best one is the one at Camp Nou on Messi’s shot. Inside of me I knew that I had saved a ball that was almost impossible to save. Then in the Champions League Final, on Müller’s shot. In conclusion the one on Aquilani, the Scudetto decider against Roma.”
