Wanda Nara, the wife and agent of Inter captain Mauro Icardi, stopped by Itallian broadcaster DAZN moments before kick-off in the Serie A at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district when the Nerazzurri host Frosinone, to comment on the fact that her husband/client has been benched.
Wanda began by praising the decision stating that: “Lautaro plays, I think that Inter will do very well with this turnover, we have faith in the decisions of the coach that have all up until now gone very well. Lautaro and Icardi can play together up front, at Racing he played close to a number 9 and he made him score a lot of goals.”
“I hope that this also happens with Mauro. The coach is slowly but surely looking to unlock his potential, I hope this is what happens for the sake of all Inter fans” Wanda continued.
In conclusion she was asked who she supports in the final of the Copa Libertadores between Boca Juniors and River Plate to which she replied: “I am a super fan of River, I will support them in the Super Clasico.”
