In today’s paper edition of the newspaper Milano based Gazzetta dello Sport discussed Inter’s positive performance after yesterday’s 3-0 win over Frosinone, particularly focusing on Keita Balde and Lautaro Martinez.

According to the report: “Inter’s game against Frosinone, which was a warm up for the Nerazzurri as they prepare themselves for a very difficult set of games, turned out to be a real showcase for Inter’s newest signings. Spalletti’s rotation policy for this game really paid off with Keita Balde and Lautaro Martinez both finding themselves on the score sheet.”

The newspaper continues: “We understand that Inter’s bench is not as strong as Juventus’, but it was clear to see that they are definitely strong and reliable enough. With Politano’s support Keita Balde and Lautaro Martinez who are usually backups for Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi respectively, were really able to shine and show that they are ready whenever they are called upon.”

In conclusion the Gazzetta reports: “There were few doubts about Lautaro’s quality, so it was Keita who really impressed the most. This was certainly the Senegalese’s most convincing performance for Inter. It will obviously take a few more performances like that one to show Spalletti that he can rest Perisic and Icardi more often, but this is a very good start.”
