Inter are continuing to monitor the progress of Alessandro Bastoni while he is out on loan with Parma according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
Injuries have limited the Italian youth international to just three appearances to date for the Ducali and as per the report, it is unlikely that he will play a part for Inter next season but rather in the season’s thereafter.
Bastoni has a contract with the Nerazzurri through to the end of the 2022/23 campaign and in order for him to continue on his current growth path, Inter believe he will be best served by going out on loan for another season and then the situation can again be looked at.
The 19-year-old central defender joined Inter on deadline day of the summer transfer window in 2017 but was loaned back to Atalanta. Initially he was meant to spend two seasons there but due to a lack of playing time, the agreement between the clubs was terminated.
