In the period between 1st July 2016 to 30th September 2018, Inter had revenues of €182.4 Million from agreements with Asian companies, of which, however, only €76.5 Million were received. To date, there has still not been €105.9 million received, of which €20 Million is for the first quarter of the current year, €22.5 Million relating to the co-branding agreement in 2016/17 and €63.3 Million for the year 2017/18.

These are the numbers as reported by Calcio e Finanza with regard to Inter’s Asian sponsorship’s. In any case, the Inter management believes that the missing amount can be cashed in on during the 2018/19 financial year, following also the shift of payment terms to December 30, 2018.

As for the other sponsorship’s, this is expected to decrease slightly from €122 to €112 Million (mostly because 47% of the figure for the naming rights of the Pinetina and of the training uniforms is required, by contract, to go to the TeamCo Fc Internazionale Spa). It is worth pointing out the contracts with Full Share (€10 Million for the entire year), Lvmama.com (€10 Million for the entire year) and iMedia (guaranteed minimum of €25 Million for the entire year).

Meanwhile, especially thanks to the return to the Champions League, the Nerazzurri continue to increase revenues from sponsors and TV rights. As stated in the Interim and Communication report on 30th September 2018, the company controlled by Fc Internazionale Milano, which converges commercial revenues and TV rights linked to the Nerazzurri company, in the first three months of the new season the Nerazzurri had equal to €98.5 Million compared to €56.5 Million as of 30th September 2017.

In detail, sponsorship revenues amounted to €27.7 Million (€ 19.9 Million in 2017), while TV rights were €70.8 Million. The participation in the Champions League has already allowed the Nerazzurri to collect €32.2 Million, of which €14.5 Million is linked to the bonus for participation in the group stage and €17.7 Million for the bonus related to the “historical ranking” which was introduced this season.

Revenues from the Serie A TV rights also increased, from €32.9 to €35.3 Million. The Nerazzurri club explains that it has already signed contracts for the entire 2018/19 for €258 Million, €19 Million more than the 2017/18 financial year. An increase pushed by the Champions League, which at the moment will bring at least €45 Million of minimum revenues in addition to at least €86.7 Million from Serie A.
