Former Inter defender and fan favourite Ivan Ramiro Cordoba was questioned by Sport Mediaset at an event organised by his former teammate and Vice-President of Inter, Javier Zanetti celebrating ‘A smile for Pupi, 17 years together’ in Milan.
Firstly he sent a message to the squad ahead of the game that could see them secure their place in the knockout stage of the competition.
“You have to go and play for Inter and look to win, meanwhile having great respect for an opponent who is very strong.”
Inter travel to London knowing that if they avoid defeat they will have secured their place in the Last 16 of the Champions League with a game to spare. Inter won the reverse fixture in the dying minutes when Matias Vecino headed in the winning goal in San Siro after Mauro Icardi had scored an emphatic equaliser from outside of the box. The game is scheduled for a 21:00 CET kick-off.
