Having impressed this season with Pescara, Inter have been keeping tabs upon former youth player Andrew Gravillon as per various news reports.
It was previously believed that the Nerazzurri had a buy back option for him following his move to the club in the summer but Delfini president Daniele Sebastiani has revealed that this is in fact not the case in an interview with FCInterNews.it.
“There is no buyback option for the Nerazzurri club. There are excellent relations [between the clubs] and I would never do anything wrong to Inter and my friend, Piero Ausilio,” he revealed.
The Guadeloupean central defender joined Inter at under 17 level back in 2014 and won a couple of honours while in Inter’s youth ranks, the 2015/16 Coppa Italia Primavera and 2016/17 Primavera title. Despite showing promise, the now 20-year-old was unable to crack the first team and was one of many young players sacrificed for financial fair play purposes.
