Ivan Perisic insists that he and his Inter teammates will play for the win tomorrow night against Spurs despite only needing one point to progress in the Champions League.

“I can not wait to play tomorrow. We are all ready and we know it will be an important match. We know that it is enough to qualify with a point but we will play as we usually do. To win. We only know how to play for the three points,” he explained in the press conference.

“We know it will be difficult because we will be playing against a good team with good players, but if we think about it in that way then we will lose. We have to play to win like we did in the last few months.”

The winger then spoke on his downturn in contribution of goals and assists.

“The numbers do not interest me, only the team does. I am working hard for the team. We listen to the coaches and we always give our best, sometimes he changes the system but we do what the coach asks of us.”

He concluded by speaking on if he was scared for his position based upon Keita Balde’s performance against Frosinone.

“No, because I know that I have quality, my teammates also have quality, there are lots of matches and everyone has to be ready for when the coach needs us.”
