Gustavo Carmo, who represents Santos starlets Yuri Alberto and Kaique Rocha, has confirmed that he has held talks with Inter officials over a possible transfer involving the youngsters.

“Yuri Alberto is a complete forward, very reminiscent of Ronaldo, but with a more modern dynamism to his game. He is quick, very powerful and has excellent awareness. Kaique Rocha is an impressive central defender. He is very fast and technically gifted, plus he is as powerful as Lucio, with the main distinction of being a lot taller than the former Inter and Bayern man,” he said in an interview with FCInterNews.it.

“I can confirm the Brazilian reports that an Inter scout has watched them but I can not give more details. This is not the right time to unveil the content of our conversations.”

Carmo however went on to insist that Inter are not alone in courting Yuri Alberto in particular.

“We are talking about a centre forward with the highest expectations in the world for someone his age, which is why he is watched by the best scouts in the world. So many clubs from all over the world have been in touch with us about his details.”

He concluded the interview by speaking on the possibility of the pair being included in a swap deal for Inter owned Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa who is currently their teammate at the Peixe.

“The main problem concerns the salary of Barbosa. It would be practically impossible for Santos to pay the salary as a whole, which is why I think the exchange between players is improbable, although I would add that the two clubs could certainly be interested in this possibility. Retaining Gabigol would be the realisation of a dream for Santos as he is player who has played fantastically in this shirt.”
