Inter coach Luciano Spalletti gave an exclusive interview to Italian broadcaster RAI Sport yesterday which was published today ahead of the group stage clash against Tottenham in the Champions League at Wembley.

The Nerazzurri coach began by not wanting to hear any talk about the fact that a point will suffice for the Nerazzurri to qualify from the group stating that: “this is a discussion where we cannot allow ourselves to be deceived on the difficulty of the match. We will have to sweat until the very last drop if we want to qualify from the group.”

“Tottenham are very much comparable to Barcelona and we have to still qualify. We can qualify if we deliver the result because going into the next match our destiny could no longer be in our hands” Spalletti concluded.

If Inter lose tonight they will have to rely on Barcelona taking a point against Spurs whilst they defeat PSV in the final group stage round.
