It has been an excellent start to the season for Axel Bakayoko, the Inter owned youngster who was born in 1998 and is tied to Inter with a contract expiring in June 2021.

He is on loan this season at St. Gallen, a club that plays in the Swiss Super League, the equivalent of Serie A in Italy. He has so far made 13 appearances in total, including in the Swiss Cup, for a total of 884 minutes.

Most of these games, according to FcInterNews.it were played by the youngster as a right back. This is interesting given the fact that in Inter’s Primavera, and in previous teams such as Sochaux, he had played on the right-wing.

So it seems it is a new role for a new beginning and according to what has been reported, the player will remain in Switzerland until the end of the season and therefore the January market window will not affect him.
