Inter’s Ivan Perisic: “I Have Always Dreamed Of Playing In The Premier League”

Inter’s Croatian international winger Ivan Perisic spoke to Italian broadcaster RAI Sport after the official press conference yesterday on the eve of the Champions League group stage clash against Tottenham in an exclusive interview that was released today.

The FIFA World Cup finalist was asked to elaborate on his statement during the press conference where Perisic said that he has always dreamed of playing in the Premier League. The former Wolfsburg player reiterated his dream by stating that: “yes playing in the Premier League is my dream but we will see if I can still do it. I am already 30 years old but it has always been my dream to play in England. We will see if I still have time [to play in England].”

Perisic was close to joining Manchester United two summers ago but the Red Devils failed to meet the asking price set by Inter’s owners Suning so the move to Old Trafford never materialized.
