Italian Pundit Sconcerti: “Tottenham Vs Inter Could Be A Champions League Quarter-Final”

There are great expectations for tonight’s game between Inter and Tottenham at Wembley Stadium in the penultimate group stage match of the Champions League.

Tonight’s match against Tottenham is very important for Inter as noted Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti writes in today’s column for Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

According to Sconcerti the high quality of players on display tonight at Wembley is worthy of the knock-out stages of the Champions League: “This match in London could easily have been a quarter-final if you look at what kind of class players there will be on the pitch tonight, although there is some lack of experience from the Champions League.”

Sconcerti continues underlining that the Premier League outfit are favorites to win as “Tottenham are to be considered the favorites, but usually Tottenham coach Pocchettino loses these kind of games in the last 30 minutes” which occurred in the reverse fixture at the San Siro when Inter came back from a goal to win 2-1.
