In an interview with Sky Sports before the match between Juventus and Valencia, Pavel Nedved commented on the imminent arrival of Beppe Marotta at Inter:

Nedved was asked if the Nerazzurri will become stronger with Marotta’s arrival to which he replied: “Of course, Beppe Marotta was very important for us, he has had some very successful years here at Juve, but I think that in the end it is the players that have to play and win on the field, this is the most important thing of all.”

“It would be great to bring four Italian teams to the knockout stages of the Champions League, I had already talked about this two years ago, for me this renaissance for Italian football already started a while ago.”

All four Italian teams (Inter, Juventus, Roma and Napoli) in the Champions League have a very good chance of qualifying for the knockout stages going in to the final two group games.
