Noted journalist Paolo Condo, the only Italian journalist with a casting vote in the prestigious Balon d’Or award, spoke to Sky Sport24 ahead Inter’s match against Tottenham:

“We must not forget that, after the draw for the Champions League was made back in August, there were those people who had already read Inter the Last Rites, but now the Nerazzurri can qualify from their group tomorrow evening in London, and in any case everything would remain open until the last game against PSV if they were to lose to Tottenham.”

“Spalletti’s team will only need a draw to guarantee second place in the group but it must be said that Tottenham are going through a period of extraordinary form, and they are in a very confident mood coming into this game against the Nerazzurri.”

Inter were seeded in pot Four when the group stage draw was made back in August and were drawn against Barcelona, Tottenham and PSV, but their fate is in their own hands ahead of the trip to London.
