Fabio Capello has reviewed Inter’s performance in their 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last night in an interview with Sky Sport.

“The Nerazzurri played a good game at Wembley and they were attentive but it is clear that they cannot allow an opponent to run for 30 metres with the ball at his feet, as with what happened for Christian Eriksen’s goal. The Dane had a devastating impact, right from his first free-kick cross after he came on. I really liked Borja Valero though, that is the first time I have seen him play like he did at Fiorentina.”

The former England manager then went on to look ahead to Inter’s final Champions League group stage game against PSV Eindhoven in two weeks time.

“It is a game that must be played with determination, but also attention from Inter. The Dutch team have good players, even if on paper Inter should win the match.”
