Despite some fears about his condition, Stefan de Vrij was forced off the field last night against Tottenham Hotspur for nothing more than muscle cramps a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport confirms.
As a result, the Dutchman is not in doubt for Inter’s game this weekend away to Roma but it is now between him and Miranda as to who will start alongside Milan Skriniar in central defence.
It is not such good news on the Radja Nainggolan front though. Evidently still struggling from previous injuries, Nainggolan was substituted during the first half of the game at Wembley, which Spurs ran out 1-0 victors in. The Belgian’s condition is to be evaluated and is in heavy doubt of making the game against the Giallorossi, who he left to join Inter in the summer. The 30-year-old could however recover in time for Inter’s game after that away to league leaders Juventus.
