Lautaro Martinez’s father Mario Martinez has denied attacking Inter manager Luciano Spalletti through Twitter in an interview with Marca.
A tweet surfaced under his name after Inter’s loss to Tottenham where Lautaro remained on the bench and albeit not directly referencing Spalletti, it was evident who it was in fact aimed at.
“I do not have a Twitter account, my only social media account is on Instagram,” Martinez sr. insisted in the interview with the Spanish newspaper.
He then went on to discuss how his son has settled in in Milan since his summer arrival at the Nerazzurri.
“Lautaro is doing good at Inter. He is at ease, has adapted to the city, the country and the league. With the daily training he has reduced the margin of difference between the Serie A and the Argentine league. The results will be achieved by working, striving and learning day by day.”
