Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta should be appointed by Inter within the next 48 hours or at the very latest by the start of next week according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Inter president Steven Zhang is in a rush to appoint the former Juventus executive while Marotta himself is equally in as much of a hurry to get back in to football having recently left the Bianconeri having played a huge role in their recent domestic dominance.

The Rome based newspaper go on to look at the potential transfer strategies that Inter could employ during the summer transfer window, which, all going well, will be Inter’s first in a long while without financial fair play restrictions.

Ultimately, Inter are looking to add players who know how to win. Inter also want players for the future, particularly those with an understanding of Italian football while free transfers will also be considered. One such player Inter are considering, as per the report, is Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
