Will Dantas, the agent of Corinthians starlet Pedrinho, has denied holding talks with Inter over a swap deal involving his client and Inter striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa.
“The latest rumour is that Inter could be interested in Pedrinho. I am receiving several phone calls from Spain, Italy and Germany. I just spoke to an Italian journalist and he asked about a possible exchange between Pedrinho and Gabriel Barbosa. Nothing happened, Inter did not ask me, if they did, I’ll talk to them like I did with Ajax and PSG when they called me,” he posted to Instagram.
Dantas then went on to describe what kind of player the 20-year-old attacking midfielder is like.
“I think he is a similar player to Zico. In his career, whether he stays at Corinthians or not, I am very proud of this guy, not just for what he does technically, but for him as person and for his humility.”
