Ahead of this weekend’s match with Roma, Italian broadcaster Sky Sports have provided an injury update about the Inter squad.
Radja Nainggolan was forced off during the first half in Wednesday night’s loss to Tottenham Hotspur but him being included in the squad cannot be ruled out. However, the report goes on to stress that it is “practically impossible” that he will play any part against his former employers on Sunday night.
Central defender Stefan de Vrij left the field with muscle cramps and while recovered, he may sit out with veteran Miranda coming in in his place to partner Milan Skriniar at the heart of defence.
The report goes on to state that Sime Vrsaljko has kept on training separately to the rest of his teammates at Appiano Gentile and therefore Danilo D’Ambrosio is likely to keep his place in the team for the match at the Stadio Olimpico.
