Sunday evening’s crunch match between Roma and Inter at the Stadio Olimpico will also be a clash of two contrasting presidential styles, as Gazzetta dello Sport discuss in their morning edition.

The Giallorossi and Nerazzurri are linked by the difficulties both have faced in respecting UEFA’s ‘Settlement Agreement’ programs over the last four years, with Inter due to exit their regime at the end of the current season.

However the way in which the two clubs have tackled their financial restrictions could not be any more different, as the Milanese publication explained today.

“Whereas Roma have satisfied UEFA’s requirements by selling off their best players, Inter have pursued alternative routes,” they write.

“Steven Zhang has visions of grandeur for Inter and his project to ‘Make Inter Great Again’, having studied at the same University as Donald Trump, is all about slow and steady growth, both in terms of income and sporting results.”

The paper also highlighted how Inter president Zhang is far more involved with the club’s day-to-day life than his Roma counterpart James Pallotta, before comparing the pair’s contrasting styles of communication.

“Steven will be in attendance at the Olimpico and perhaps that’s his way of proving Radja Nainggolan right, who told the Gazzetta in a recent interview: ‘Steven is always close to the team, whereas Pallotta never was.’

“Just like Xi Jiping and Trump, Zhang and Pallotta could not be more different in terms of communication: the first is stealthy in public while the second is more extroverted.”
