Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has spoken on the difficult few months he has endured while affirming his commitment to the Lazio amid continued reports of interest from a whole host of clubs from Inter to Barcelona.

“It was not easy to have so many voices in my head. At the World Cup I did not do well, then I came back, the renewal came and I am happy. I try to play in the best way possible, but I am not happy with what I have done up to this point. I have to improve, even mentally. It was not easy for me mentally, but I will try to give my best,” the Serbian midfielder told Sky Sport.

“My future? I signed a five-year contract and I repeat that I am happy. I think only about taking to the pitch and playing whether I am worth €80 or €100 million, that is up to other people to decide.”
