Former Inter midfielder Gaby Mudingayi reflected upon his time with Inter in an interview with Juvenews ahead of this Friday’s Derby D’Italia.

“For me it was a great experience at Inter. I think that any player has the goal to get to play in a great team and they were two important and beautiful years. It is not easy to play in a team like Inter because it is a top team and so it takes time to adapt. Without a shadow of doubt Javier Zanetti impressed me most at Inter. He is a champion both on and off the pitch.”

The Congolese-Belgian midfielder then gave an update on what he is up to in his post-football life.

“Now I am an entrepreneur, I take care of my brand, I have a restaurant and I am planning to open a football school in the city where I live.”

He concluded by stating what he expects to see from Friday’s match at the Allianz Stadium.

“I expect to see a spectacular match, with many goals, between two great teams.”
