Luciano Spalletti has spoken on the condition of his side ahead of tomorrow’s Derby D’Italia match-up with Juventus and how his side must face the game with the reigning Serie A champions.
“The team arrives well for this match, we are in the right physical and mental condition. This then becomes a difficult game because Juventus can play it without the tension we have due to the gap they have while we have to try and fill this distance between us in the league table.
“Juve has not always won by going to dominate the game. It is a team that in some moments knows how to take advantage of the certain episodes and they are strong in mentality as well as having a leader who can determine play in all departments. We must face them with great courage, determination and be convinced [of our own abilities].”
Spalletti then commented on what Inter can learn from the match.
“All matches give us something on which we have to work on, after Roma I can say that the team has played well and we can be proud of what we are doing, if we can have a little more attention then we can even get close to perfection.
He concluded by speaking on what one of the main things for Inter is this season.
“The essential thing is to reach our goal supported by important performances and believe that everything is possible because we are a team of a certain level.”
