Brazilian club Flamengo could be set to swoop for both Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa and Miranda according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

“The Brazilian club is pushing to have Gabigol on loan from Inter, but would also like Miranda , but this last operation is very complicated because Spalletti will only let him go if he has a replacement of equal value,” the report from the Rome based newspaper reads.

Flamengo have been quoted as interested in Gabigol for quite some time but may struggle to get a loan offer accepted by Inter who are understood to wish to loan him out within Europe or sell him entirely.

Miranda on the other hand has drawn lots of interest from his homeland in recent months and despite a recent contract renewal that ties him to the club until the end of the 2019/20 season, he could leave due to seeing limited playing time due to the emergence of a partnership between Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij.
