Danilo D’Ambrosio took part in the pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow night’s Champions League group stage finale against PSV.

“Inter must always be ready. We are as angry as ever, we are obliged to win more and more and tomorrow we will need a bit of luck. We have to win, we have to do our job and will just have to accept the other result. We have to win tomorrow regardless of the recent results, we are not in crisis and the match against PSV could allow us with a bit of luck to reach the last sixteen after so many years,” he said.

“I personally am not thinking about the Barcelona-Spurs game, we have to trust our own qualities and strengths and what we want to achieve with this shirt. If tomorrow we do not do win it will be our fault.”

He then spoke on Inter’s objectives for the season.

“Inter must always think about doing the maximum, we must not be content just to get through the group and from the next round we will have to think about winning against those we will face. In the league we will not be satisfied with finishing fourth.”

He then returned to speak about the Juventus game.

“When you lose you are never happy, you can not be happy even if you played well. The coach was not satisfied because of the wasted opportunities nor with the attitude of some players. You have to be more concrete and make the most of the opportunities created.

He concluded by speaking on contesting the right back position with Sime Vrsaljko.

“With Vrsaljko I have a good relationship but being in a great team there must be competition, ours is healthy. I’m sorry he has had injury problems, to give 100% every three days you have to have other players and that’s what the club has done in the transfer market.”
