Inter linked Edgar Elizalde will not be leaving Pescara at least until the summer transfer window according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Uruguayan defender has impressed the Nerazzurri’s scouts with his ability while his versatility on the field is also understood to be something that they have been impressed by.

Inter are not alone in courting the 18-year-old, who is primarily a centre back, with fellow Serie A clubs Milan and Juventus as well as some foreign clubs also on his tracks.

Pescara have set an asking price of €7-8 million on his head but this value could of course be taken down should an interested party offer a counterpart as part of any deal.

Elizalde, who holds dual Spanish nationality, has made 18 appearances for the Delfini since his arrival in the 2017 summer transfer window from Montevideo Wanderers. He is under contract at the Stadio Adriatico – Giovanni Cornacchia through to the end of the 2021/22 season.
