Stefan de Vrij reflected upon Inter’s tough exit from the Champions League that came as a result of their draw with PSV Eindhoven coupled with Tottenham Hotspur’s draw with Barcelona.

“Their is a very great deal of disappointment. We did not take advantage of our chances. It is a pity as in the second half we were unlucky. We could have still won but the ball just would not go in the net. Obviously we knew that PSV had a strong team, even if they were already eliminated from the competition. We knew that it would not be easy but we also had enough chances of achieving our goal,” he explained in an interview with Veronica.
