In his editorial piece for Corrieire della Sera, Italian football analyst Mario Sconcerti discusses the elimination from the Champions League of both Inter and Napoli: “In my opinion, Napoli will have more regrets about their elimination than Inter. Ancelotti’s men only lost one match, whilst they were eliminated by Liverpool who lost three times.”

It was a poor match that lacked the passion and soul we have previously seen, and in the end the club was sunk by Lucas’ late goal against Barcelona.”
