Trent Sainsbury has spoken on coming up against former teammate Mauro Icardi as he returned to San Siro on Tuesday night as his PSV Eindhoven side took on Inter.

“I trained a lot with him in the past so I knew a little bit about what I could expect,” he revealed in an interview with Dutch news site Eindhovens Dagblad.

The Australian centre back had a six month loan spell with Inter during the 2017/18 season and made one appearance during his time with the club.
