Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti spoke to gathered media on the sidelines of his new book launch event.
“This book talks about this new stage in my life and how I went from being a player to a director. But most of all, it talks about values.
“I’m very happy because I wanted this challenge – it is one in which I have to look at all aspects. I spend a lot of time working on international projects. This helps Inter to grow: the club is becoming more and more competitive season after season, including on the pitch.
“I try to transmit the values that Inter has taught me both within the club and to the wider public.
He concluded by speaking on Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta’s arrival at Inter.
“Today was an important day for Inter: an experienced director with a great skill set in Marotta became part of the club. He will join a group that only wants the best for Inter. The foundations are therefore there for great work to be done.”
