Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, report that everyone at Inter is under scrutiny, from the coach to the captain to the bench players after the arrival of Beppe Marotta.

The new CEO will be asked to make assessments of the entire team at the end of the season by Suning. It starts, of course, with Luciano Spalletti, who has a contract until 2021 and has already been reassured by Marotta.

To question his position would have been a sort of own goal, but it is right for Marotta to support the tactician, because beyond the possible future choices, it is obvious that the coach will have to bring Inter again into the top four and therefore into the Champions League.

Then he will be able to make his own assessments on Spalletti, as well as for players who will now have a new Director to convince: a fundamental word on the confirmation or not of a player will now arrive from the judgment of Marotta, for example the renewals of Icardi and Skriniar are still outstanding, objectively the two best players in this Inter squad along with Brozovic who has already extended.

At the same time they are two elements that could allow more room on the market and allow the Director to fine-tune Pogba-style transactions, or a super-profitable sale – Icardi currently has a €110 million release clause valid abroad whilst Skriniar is valued at no less than €80 Million – which allows you to make a huge capital gain and have money to invest to seek reinforcements.

The assessments do not stop there though. The performances of Keita will be looked at with his redemption fee set at €34 million, but also that of Perisic, the winger was a key player in previous years and the World Cup, and is tempted by an experience in the Premier League.

Without forgetting Gabigol who will return from his loan at Santos and is valued at around €20 million as Tuttosport ask the question of whether or not the Brazilian will be the first sale of the Marotta era.
