Inter once again watched Sandro Tonali over the weekend but still find themselves behind in the race to secure his signature according to a report from Tuttosport.

The Nerazzurri had a scout present at Brescia’s Stadio Mario Rigamonti yesterday to take in Tonali’s performance as the Rondinelle beat Lecce 2-1 with the Italian international playing the entire match.

Inter are fighting with Juventus in particular to sign the 18-year-old sensation who has drawn comparisons to Andrea Pirlo. As per the report from the Turin based newspaper, the Bianconeri are currently the front runners for Tonali’s signature. Several Premier League clubs including Chelsea and both Manchester United and City are also said to be interested in signing him as per various other reports.

Tonali has made 14 appearances across all competitions this season for a total of 1226 minutes. He has one goal to his name this season and has also tallied four assists.
