Regardless of the coaching situation at Manchester United with Jose Mourinho under increasing pressure, the Red Devils will move for Galatasaray’s Ozan Kabak according to a report from British newspaper the Daily Mail.

The 18-year-old centre back is valued at around €20 million but has a €6.7 million release clause in his current deal with the Turkish giants. Galatasaray are looking to tie him down to a new and improved contract that would see the release clause raised or removed entirely.

After not getting what he wanted in the summer transfer window, Mourinho once again wants reinforcement in central defence. The report states that United bosses however are unwilling to meet the high evaluation’s of Mourinho’s preferred targets such as Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and Leicester City’s Harry Maguire.

United are not alone in courting Kabak, who is being tipped for a very bright future, though. The Daily Mail further detail that they face competition from city rivals Manchester City and Italian duo Inter and Roma.
