Argentine giants Boca Juniors have confirmed the appointment of former Inter defender Nicolas Burdisso as the club’s new sporting director.

“Nicolás Burdisso signed a contract with President Daniel Angelici and has became Boca’s new sporting director. Aníbal Matellán will be the sports secretary. Welcome Home,” Boca posted to their social media channels.

Burdisso’s appointment could well benefit Inter down the line, particularly if Inter are looking to sign one of Boca’s many talents.
