Despite being convinced that he can ply his trade in Europe, perhaps even at Inter, the future of Gabriel Barbosa could still be in Brazil according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Flamengo seems to be the club most interested in acquiring the striker, who is valued at no less than €22 Million by Inter, in part thanks to the excellent season with Santos where he earned the title of top scorer in the Brasilerao.

During the coming week there will be a meeting between a delegation of Mengao officials led by vice president Marcos Braz, in the presence of the agent of Barbosa, Wagner Ribeiro. The intention would be to find an agreement with Inter for the transfer of the player.

Among the aims of Braz there is also interest in Joao Miranda, who does not seem enthusiastic about returning to Brazil. There could also be a summit with Sampdoria to deal with Dodò Pires, the former Inter player who is on loan at Santos until 31 January.
