According to a report from German newspaper Berliner Kurier, Inter and Milan linked Valentino Lazaro will be going absolutely nowhere in the upcoming January transfer window.

The Hertha Berlin ace’s agent was recently in Milan which sparked rumours that there could be interest from the Milanese clubs in his client. His agent did in fact meet with officials from Milan at the start of the week but Hertha have closed the doors to the Austrian international departing the German capital.

Further weight has been added to Berliner Kurier’s report with Berliner Morgenpost meanwhile running a story that features the line “there will be no transfer involving Lazaro in the winter.”

The 22-year-old winger joined the Olympiastadion outfit on a permanent basis from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg in the summer and has put together 18 appearances across all competitions so far this season. Lazaro has contributed two goals and four assists in 1620 minutes of football.
