Kwadwo Asamoah gave his thoughts and feelings about Inter’s 1-0 victory over Empoli in an interview with Inter TV where he also reflected on the first half of the season for the Nerazzurri.
“This win was very important for us, we always want to win and especially in these matches. We needed the win in order to close the year in a good way,” he said.
“The goal of Keita Baldé? It is worth a lot for the team and meant that we could bring home three points. We could have done even better, but at the end the result we wanted finally came.
“Up until now this Inter adventure has been filled with a lot of intensity and many emotions. Now there are six months remaining of this season and we want to continue to grow because this is something we know we can do, both on an individual level and on a collective level. Take Keita for example, a player that slowly is returning to the level he had when he was playing with Lazio.”
He concluded by revealing his favourite moment of the season; “I would say the win against Tottenham.”
