Loris Benito, the 25-year-old left back who is currently plying his trade for Young Boys in Switzerland, is on the radar of several Italian clubs.

FcInterNews reported on Friday that Inter is one of those sides keen on the player, adding that the club have already spoken with his representatives in the hope of signing Benito on a free, once his contract expires at the end of the current season.

In order to sign the Swiss international, though, the Nerazzurri will need to fend off the likes of Atalanta, Fiorentina, Genoa and Lazio.

Young Boys are aware of the club’s interest, and it is possible they could be convinced to sell Benito in the upcoming Jnanuary transfer window in order to avoid losing him for nothing.

Benito has featured regularly for the league leaders this season, making 25 appearances and providing three assists.

He was an ever present in the side’s Champions League campaign, which saw them collect a famous victory over Juventus on the final match day.
