According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter are ready to sign Cruzeiro and Brazilian youth international goalkeeper Gabriel Brazao.

Inter’s vice sporting director Dario Baccin recently took in some of Brazao’s performances in a youth tournament in South America with some people labelling the 18-year-old as the next Julio Cesar.

The Nerazzurri are ready to snap him up immediately for a fee of €2.5 million but will leave him playing in Brazil at least until the summer to allow him to acquire a Portuguese passport so he does not count against Inter’s non-EU player quota.

In the summer Inter would then decided whether to bring him to Inter or send him out on loan to another club, with talks with Chievo Verona already believed to be underway.

The report from the Rome based newspaper also touches upon Inter’s interest in Bordeaux starlet Aurelien Tchouameni. Inter have been following the 18-year-old since last season and the player himself is said to be intrigued by the prospect of moving to Inter, who would have to pay between €5-6 million to secure his services.
