Flamengo’s interest in Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa could come at a cost to them other than the transfer fee according to a report from Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Inter, who have also received enquiries from Premier League pair Everton and West Ham about the striker’s availability, are open to letting the 22-year-old move to the Rubro-Negro so long as they get a first refusal of sorts on Reinier Jesus Carvalho, known simply just as Reinier, the report details.

The 16-year-old talent is currently part of Flamengo’s under 20 team and is being tipped for a very bright future. He has already drawn comparisons to Lucas Paqueta, who recently secured a €35 million move to Inter’s city rivals Milan.

The Brazilian youngster, who is in the Brazilian under 17 international team, has a €70 million release clause in his contract due to his age and huge potential and his contract still has a further two years left to run.
