Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos sits atop of Inter’s transfer wish list for the midfield but he is not the only players that Inter are looking at with a view to strengthening the midfield department.

According to a report from Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Inter are also keen on Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. The 22-year-old Frenchman is followed by several other top clubs including Barcelona and Manchester United and will cost any interested party at least €60 million to prize him away from Lyon.

Ndombele aside, Inter are also interested in Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but Lazio’s high demands for the Serbian have led Inter in the direction of other names.

Nicolo Barella and Sandro Tonali are also under consideration but are considered more long-term projects for the midfield, particularly Tonali, with neither player currently possessing the traits of the top midfielder that Inter are intent on adding to their team.
