With the end of the year upon the world, several players have reflected on the past calendar year including Inter centre back Milan Skriniar.
“I am happy with the past year at Inter, of course we can always do better but in the end we got back in the Champions League,” he said in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.
“It was too bad though that we went out immediately but for me it is always a great experience to have played in this competition and to have played all these games in Serie A.
“2019 will be another year that I will live with Inter fans,” he concluded.
The 23-year-old Slovakian defender has made 23 appearances across all competitions this season and while yet to score or assist this season he has further asserted himself as one of not only the best young but best defenders in the world in general.
