Legendary Brazilian ex player Ronaldo spoke to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport 24 on location in Dubai on a wide variety of subjects beginning with if he would ever buy Inter and become the club’s President.

Ronaldo stated that: “I did not think about it, but I can certainly say that Inter is a team that is in my heart and I would not exclude it happening in the future, but I do not have the money to buy them. Now I’m very busy with Valladolid, but in the future you never know.”

How do you rate the current Inter team?

“Compared to the last two years, Inter have improved a lot, even though Juventus is definitely stronger than all of the other Italian teams, I think it’s hard for the others. It was a pity for the disappointing result against PSV in the Champions League as there was a great chance to move forward in Europe, but this was not by any means expected.”

Is Spalletti the right coach for Inter?

“Spalletti is doing very well, it is true that Inter is a team that must always aim to win championships and trophies, but given the current situation I say he is doing very well.”

Can Icardi still remain at Inter for many years?

“He always scores so many goals, and it’s not easy to get a player that costs a lot and has a high salary, and I think Inter want to keep him for a long time.”

Cristiano Ronaldo and Ancelotti are in Italy: what effect does it have?

“It is nice to see them as two protagonists in Italian football: I am great friends with Carlo, we understand each other and we see each other even now and I wish him luck for the season.”
