Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa has revealed he wants a chance at Inter despite a wealth of media reports stating that Inter are looking to move him on.

“Before any decision I want to speak with Luciano Spalletti. I will be back in Italy on January 7 for a meeting. I would like a chance at Inter,” the 22-year-old insisted when speaking with Panorama.

Flamengo, West Ham United and Fulham are understood to be the three most interested parties in the Brazilian’s signature.

Inter, as per the reports, wish to move Gabigol on on a permanent basis and are commanding a fee of around €20 million for the striker they forked out €30 million for back in the Summer of 2016.

While on loan with Santos last year, he was able to rekindle the form that led to Inter buying him in the first place as he notched 18 goals in 35 appearances, winning the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A top scorer award in the process.
