Football agent Dario Canovi has given his predictions about how much transfer activity he expects some of top clubs in Italy to do in an interview with Il Romanista.

“I have never believed in teams making big signings during the winter transfer market,” Canovi said.

“Roma will certainly make moves, I think for the defence and the midfield. Milan will also do something. I do not think Inter will do much even in terms of outgoing transfers.

“Napoli seem to be in a good position so other than Roma I do not expect much movement from the big teams.”

Canovi then went on to discuss which kind of clubs in Serie A he thinks the most movement will come from during this month.

“I think there will be more movement among the mid-table teams,” he continued. “Genoa for example have already signed a Brazilian goalkeeper and will do other deals in the window.”
