Antonio Valencia has been offered to Inter as a possible free transfer in the Summer according to a report from British tabloid The Sun.

The Ecuadorian full back is out of contract with Manchester United at the end of the current season although the Red Devils do have an option to extend the 33-year-old’s deal for a further season should they wish.

However, he has been limited to just eight appearances across all competitions which has raised doubts about his future at Old Trafford past the end of the current season. He played for the first time in some time in United’s 2-0 win over Newcastle United earlier this week in which he captained the side who are experiencing a real resurgence under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Valencia joined Manchester United back in the Summer of 2009 and has made 338 appearances winning two Premier League titles, two League Cup’s, an FA Cup, three Community Shields and the UEFA Europa League.
