Talks between Inter and Flamengo over Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa have intensified but it can not be ruled out that Inter could include him in a deal for Nicolo Barella according to a report from Tuttosport.

Inter and Flamengo are looking for a solution involving the 22-year-old striker who is largely out-of-favour at Inter. Inter are not wanting to make a loss on Gabigol and need a transfer fee of €18 million to avoid doing so. Flamengo however do not have the resources to meet Inter’s demands.

In the end, Inter and Flamengo could agree to a loan move involving Gabigol and the Nerazzurri could request getting a future option on Lincoln or Reinier or both as part of it.

The report then goes on to discuss the hypothesis of him being involved in a deal for Barella. In order to bring the cost of Barella down, Inter could insert counterparts. Gabigol aside, the Nerazzurri could also send Eder to the Sardinian outfit from sister club Jiangsu Suning.
